Athletes Earn 38 Medals at 2010 Ohio Special Olympics Summer Games
2010 Summer Games, The Royal Knights
COLUMBUS–Stark Public Special Olympics (the “Royal Knights”) brought home 38 medals along with 10 ribbons during the June 25-27, 2010 Ohio Special Olympics Summer Games at Ohio State University. The Summer Games are the equivalent of the “Super Bowl” for the athletes in attendance.

Stark Public Special Olympics, the "Royal Knights," at Opening Ceremonies
The event kicked off with its traditional opening ceremonies, including a parade of athletes, an appearance by the newly crowned Miss Ohio, and the lighting of the “Flame of Hope,” Friday evening at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.

Tennis coaches: Jan Brunecz, Nathan Harold, and Perri Concialdi. Track and Field coaches: Randi Buhecker, Don Compher, Lisa Ludwig-Cramer, and Rob Cramer.
