Bowling

Stark Public Special Olympics (SPSO) offers bowling as one of its sports. The team is coached by Ben Hershberger with support by Theresa Mayes, Eli Hershberger and Linda Hershberger.

Bowlers can be invited to participate at Columbus for the yearly Special Olympics Summer Games after qualifying.

The Akron, OH Qualifier was held March 13, 2010. During the qualifer, SPSO bowlers took home one first place; three second place; five third place; and five fourth place wins. Earlier in the year, Kent invited athletes for a bowling invitational.
