Family Alliance Network and Support (FANS): FANS is open to all families who are supported through the ARC of Stark County, Inc. FANS replaced the U.P.S. for Down Syndrome program and is expanding its mission to involve parents of children with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities. This committee is comprised of U.P.S. parents, parents of children with other disabilities, board and staff members of The Arc, and members of other community organizations that support individuals with disabilities. FANS welcomes and encourages all to attend their monthly meetings and enjoy the monthly activities. They have a monthly newsletter.
