11:30-12:45 Check-in/warm-up, balls included
1:00 Shotgun start, scramble format, beverages will be provided for golfers while on the course (water, soft drinks, beer)
5:30 Supper buffet, silent auction, basket raffle, 50/50 raffle

Cost: $75 per golfer
Hole sponsors: $150
Hole sponsors with team: $400
Prizes will be awarded in 3 divisions: men, women, co-ed
Maximum field: 33 teams
Mulligans $5, must use your own (max. 2)
Skins: $20 team

NON-GOLFERS: $20 for supper buffet, door prizes, awards presentation

Funds raised will be used to pay for costs incurred in the training and opportunities for competition for Stark Public Special Olympics athletes in 8 sports: basketball, bowling, figure skating, powerlifting, softball, speed skating, tennis, and track & field. We are a 501(c)(3) organization. Any donation made is tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

The Stark Public Special Olympics 4th Annual Ellen Helling Memorial Golf/Outing Fundraiser at Skyland Pines Golf Course will be held on September 24, 2011 with check-in starting at 11:30 a. m.

Stark Public Special Olympics teams consist of Stark County athletes that qualify for Special Olympics. Our program, which has been providing quality sports programs to Stark Public Special Olympians for the past 23 years, provides athletes with the opportunity to participate in one or more of eight sports: basketball, bowling, figure skating, powerlifting, softball, speed skating, tennis and track & field. Over 100 athletes, throughout Stark County, currently participate with the assistance of 45-50 coaches and other volunteers.

Although affiliated with Special Olympics Ohio and Special Olympics International, Stark Public Special Olympics does not receive any funds from the state, national or international level. We are not affiliated with any specific school district. Our program is open to all Special Olympic athletes throughout Stark County, starting at age 8 and continuing as long as the athlete wishes to participate.

The Stark Public Special Olympics athletes practice and participate in competitions throughout Ohio and some have participated nationally and internationally. They develop their bodies and minds through hard work, accomplishment, and teamwork.

• Attend the Stark Public Special Olympics 4th Annual Ellen Helling Memorial Golf Outing/ Fundraiser on September 24, 2011. Cost: $75 per person $300 per team.
• Sponsor a hole at the Golf Outing/Fundraiser ($150 per hole)
• Sponsor a hole and enter a team $400.
